Earlier this year,
Veidekkeannounced its decision to split the group's Swedish operations into the two units Construction Sweden and Infrastructure Sweden. The change is part of Veidekke'sstrategy as a streamlined contractor and ensures an efficient organisation with a focus on operations and a shorter distance from management to projects. The two operational Â areas are headed by Charlotta NilsÃ©n and Marcus C Nilsson - both part of Veidekke'sgroup management team. As a result of the organisational change, Veidekkewill change the group's segment reporting and, from the third quarter 2021 forward, information about the group's Swedish operations will be reported as Construction Sweden and Infrastructure Sweden, respectively. An overview of main items in the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and order backlog in accordance with the new segment structure is attached to this report.
