MEGAN FOX, MACHINE GUN KELLY ARE ENGAGED: “WE ASKED FOR MAGIC”

Fox’s engagement ring is “unique” because of the emerald and diamond stones chosen and the You and Me setting, according to Shelley Brown, fashion and beauty editor of The Knot.

“Megan Fox’s engagement ring is unique because of both its setting and the choice of center stones: it’s an untraditional You and Me setting with magnetic bands that connect a pear-shaped diamond and an emerald to form a two-tone heart,” Brown told FOX. Business.

Kelly designed the ring with Stephen Webster, known for designing custom rings for Liz Taylor, Madonna and J.Lo, according to Brown.

The musician chose magnetic strips for the ring, which he says symbolize “two magnetic strips of thorns.”

“The bands of the ring have magnets embedded in the metal, pulling them together to create a heart made up of a pear-shaped diamond and an emerald,” Brown told FOX Business. “This design is both creative and clever – the heart represents the couple’s love story, while the magnetic stripes ensure the ring stays in place on the finger.”
