Bitpanda Custody, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), has joined the Bosonic Decentralized Financial Markets Infrastructure (dFMI) network.
Bitpanda Custody has joined the network to meet growing demands from institutional clients looking for a UK-based digital asset custodian.
Bitpanda Custody (formerly known as Trustology) will also join the Bosonic Cross
The Custodian Net Settlement Task Force (CCNS) as Bosonic prepares to launch
service later this year.
The initiative aims to establish a new standard for the settlement and clearing of atomic payment-for-payment (PvP) swaps through a global network of independent custodians, eliminating counterparty credit and settlement risk between these institutional players.
Commenting on the news, Rosario Ingargiola, CEO of Bosonic, said, “The need to protect customer data and assets is paramount and fundamental to the fiduciary responsibility of these customers. We are delighted to have Bitpanda Custody join the Bosonic network and look forward to helping them serve their institutional clients.
Alex Batlin, Managing Director of Bitpanda Custody, comments: “Bitpanda Custody is
delighted to join the Bosonic task force to help institutional clients reduce risk and end-of-day settlement costs, while improving capital efficiency, all backed by a
insured and regulated crypto custodian.”
