Apple Introduces New Marketing Tools to App Store, Including Ad Asset Creator


Apple showed off several new App Store marketing tools on Friday, including a new personalized marketing asset creator that developers can use when promoting their app.

On the new Marketing Tools webpage (see here), Apple explains how developers can now “promote it like a pro” with customizable ad templates that create banners to promote apps, mostly on social media.

In an article on the developer’s webpage, Apple says the new tools make promoting apps on social media “easier than ever,” noting all the creative features available for free to be used to promote apps online.

Now you can easily create personalized marketing resources, such as banners and images, to promote your apps on social media and more. Simply select your app, choose a template, personalize your design, and add predefined messages in multiple languages. Your resources will be instantly available in all the right sizes, making sharing easier than ever. You can also continue to use these App Store marketing tools to create short links or embeddable code that lead to your App Store product page and display your app icon, QR code, or App Store badge.

Today’s launch follows Apple originally showcased its Marketing Tools webpage on the App Store late last year., providing the ability to create basic marketing materials for apps, such as QR codes, App Store badges, links, etc. in line.
